Welcome to Task Force 58
Task Force 58, codenamed 'The Peacekeepers' is situated in the Raeyan Sector, far from the heart of the Federation. In this war-ravaged area of space, an area of many threats over the past ten years alone, there is little of the happy utopia of Earth, little of the contented citizens of Sol, little of the controlled security of the Alpha Quadrant.
This is a frontier, a frontier that has asked Starfleet for its protection. Wars with the C'Hakilians ravaging the area, the presence of the Corporate Confederation trying to take advantage of the indigenous species, the pirates seeing the area as ripe for plucking, have all contributed to the sector being a dangerous and volatile place. And that's just barely breaking the surface of what the Raeyan Sector is all about.
It all falls on the shoulders of the men and women who serve as Commanding Officers and crew as part of Task Force 58 to keep the peace in the middle of the chaos.

I am reposting this message from Mike Bremer as listed on the RSB site:
I’m sure you all have read Ron’s announcement regarding changes to the Senior Staff of TF58. I want to take one last moment to thank Commodore Grace for everything he’s done for TF58 over the years. He was one of the best TFXOs I’ve ever worked with and he will be missed.
Stepping up to TFXO is Liam, SBB’s CO, and someone that I feel will also be one heck of a TFXO!
Filling the void of TFCoS will be yours truly. While I do not want to leave TG Pegasus, I’m not going anywhere. Now, I’ll be in a better position in which to help all of the COs in TF58. My door is still open to you all!
Until a permanent TGCO is selected, Captain William Coast-Endas will be stepping up as acting TGCO. I have FULL confidence in James, after all he was once a TFCO and BFXO!
Thank you all for your hard work in making TG Pegasus the best in TF58, and in my opinion, the best TF in the whole fleet. You guys and gals are amazing and it’s been my honor working with you all.
